Any time there is a weekend this summer there are things getting checked off the Summer Fun Bucket Book. Despite the fact that things continue to be added to the list, we still are more than half way through it. Here’s what happened the weekend of July 9th:
Friday night brought miniature golf at Cherry Hill. After trailing most of the game I rallied to take a respectable second place. Really I attribute the second place finish more to the fact that my fellow golfers choked on the back 9 than to my extreme skill at the sport. But don’t get me wrong, I am EXTREMELY skilled at the sport. I can call it a sport, right?
On Saturday we hit up the Salt Lake Farmer’s Market. We wandered around for awhile and then ended up across the street eating Belgian Waffles at Bruges. I’d never been. It was delightful. My waffle of choice was the Torpedo. What? A waffle stuffed with chocolate bars and covered in whipped cream? I think I found heaven.
Saturday ended with the tri-ward super activity closing social pool party. A good time was had by all.
